To silence the accusations of tax fraud against her, Ségolène ROYAL, candidate in the 2007 presidential election, revealed that she paid the tax on wealth not on her own property but on her common assets with her spouse François Hollande. This statement comes after the SIW charges of fraud against the couple. She asks that all candidates report their assets to avoid "the insinuations and methods of UMP scum".
