Thomas Pesquet: the highlight of the return to Earth
Elise LUCET talks with astronaut Thomas PESQUET, for her first televised interview since returning from the Proxima mission, her first space adventure aboard the international space station ISS, recorded from the European Astronaut Centre in Cologne. He talks about the landing phase of the shuttle and its first steps on the ground: what one feels inside the ISS and the violence of the shock (parachute, arrival on the ground) and the first steps outside (the contrast of colors, smells, sounds...).
