Thomas Pesquet: food and sport aboard the International Space Station

At NASA’s space training centre in Houston, astronaut Thomas PESQUET is training for his next mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS) which should take place in a year’s time. He does two hours of sports a day to be in the best shape at the time of the mission and also familiarizes himself with the strength training equipment he will use on board the station. Because muscles and bones atrophy in space. Then he tastes some dishes prepared by Paul Ducasse and selects those that will be on the menu of ISS members for great occasions (first space outing, birthday, Christmas). It then presents some foods that will constitute the ordinary food of spacemen.
