Matthieu PERRIN-JANET collects Stan Smith, the most sold sneakers in the world since he was a teenager. It shows a model, a limited edition that is the perfect replica of the shoe first released in 1964. He bought one pair every year until production stopped in 2011. For him, it is a strategy of the manufacturer to create scarcity, which would seem to mean the resumption of manufacturing in 2014. This is denied by Nathalie BEGUINOT (Adidas originals France) who advances the argument of counterfeits that the brand could no longer control.
