Kabul: daily life under the Taliban regime

Since the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan, everyday life in Kabul has been made up of prohibitions (no music, no film, no television) of fear, of constraints (wearing a long beard). As a result, some professions are in great difficulty such as barbers or photographers (only photos of identities are allowed). Testimony of a barber who had not practised for three months. Some inhabitants testify to the punishments incurred in case of non-compliance with the rules, difficulties to ensure daily life.
