Olivier Py, playwright, actor and director of the National Drama Center of Orléans, rebels against the label of intellectual ("nerd") that we stick to him, saying that he never understood what definition we give to this word. He spends his days meeting people who think. He himself comes from a background that was not cultivated. The question is not whether a piece is "intellectual" but whether it is of quality. On this subject he declares to love the comedy, but to hate the theater of boulevard.
