Maryvonne DUPUREUR won silver in the 800m at the Tokyo Summer Olympic Games. She’s being interviewed by her husband. The first question is put to her husband: "Do you feel that if you had been in Tokyo you could have given useful advice to your wife and perhaps avoided some mistakes in her preparation?". He says, "I don’t believe at all... she has enough character to do without me... she’s both head and legs". Maryvonne tells the story of her race. She announced the end of her sporting career: "the Olympic final was my last race".
