The National Assembly has just adopted a law presented by the Government, approving the accession to the future European Atomic Energy Community, or Euratom, which will aim to coordinate Member States' research programmes for the peaceful use of nuclear energy. The President of the Council, Guy MOLLET, accompanied by Francis PERRIN, Commissioner General for Atomic Energy, had come to defend this bill before the Assembly, chaired by Maurice BOURGÈS-MAUNOURY.
