The Stock Exchange in 1963

It is in a large building in the shape of a rotunda lit by a glass roof that brokers, coteurs and commissionaires come to do business but there are also regulars. The free market covers grains, fodder seeds, straw and fodder and fruit and vegetables. On the regulated market, cases relating in particular to cocoa, groundnut, flax and soya cake are dealt with. At the bell call, bids are offered at the auction.
