Two teenagers talk about their grandparents candidly
Michèle DEMAI questions Guillaume, a 13-year-old teenager and a teenager about their relationship with their grandparents. Their answers are brutally sincere and heartbreaking. Guillaume begins by talking about his maternal grandmother with whom he does not get along very well. To the question: "Does she look old to you?" Guillaume answers: "Yeah... She begins to age a little: in two she fell to the retreat, the osteoarthritis that began, she fell blind" "And you, can’t you bring her back to youth?" "I tried, I didn’t succeed," replied Guillaume. The teenager then interviewed admits to being ungrateful towards her grandparents: "I loved them when I was little because they brought me a lot of affection... They are old...well they are 60...I prefer to go see my friends and my friends..." Guillaume finally talks about his paternal grandmother who does not resemble the first one at all. He describes her as very dynamic and intellectual.
