Julien CLERC belonged to the UJP, the Youth Union for Progress. He believes he is not committed because what meaning to give to this word. It doesn’t mean anything to him. He’s coming from an artistic point of view and thinking that music can go beyond that. He adds "that if there is a place where man can overcome pettiness it is in music".
