Dominique Verdailhan welcomes singer Claude Nougaro. Interviewed about the music that led him to the song, he explains: "My childhood was marked with the red and gold of the theatre and the amazing theatre that is the lyric, that really, it crossed me with emotions and then in my school childhood, I began to listen on the radio the first accents of a music from elsewhere, the jazz music".
