Fernandel talks about his friend Pagnol with whom he made many films like Angèle, Regain, Topaz or Le Schpountz. He tells the story of a day of filming: "It was not cinema that we made. No, we played ball, we had lunch...very often at night we didn’t shoot... and that’s how we made movies". He also recounts an annecdote on the southern character of Pagnol.
