Controversy surrounding the examination of a professor
Olivier Merritte, professor of physical education, is prosecuted before the Créteil Correctional Court for "complicity in voluntary violence", after a complaint by the parents of an injured student during a class. The schoolgirl, schooled in class of 5th in the college Victor Hugo, had the collarbone fractured by a comrade during a judo fight "fair" organized by the teacher to settle a conflict between two students. For the lawyer of the accused professor, Pierre La Fontaine, and his fellow professors who came to support him, the case should not have been taken to the criminal court.
