Following the ban in Sweden of corporal punishment on children, interview of Danièle RAPOPORT, psychologist. It explains the differences between the spanking given to children (from the little pat on the buttocks, to the humiliating spanking, to the spanking that falls on the child). She believes that we cannot go very far in this area because the child is fragile. According to her, children need authority but with safety and respect for their needs.
