Comment by Maurice Schumann on images of General de Gaulle in London. On the occasion of July 14, 1942, the General laid a wreath in front of the statue of Marshal Foch in London. He then reviewed the soldiers of the Free French Forces stationed in England and decorated the most deserving of the Cross of Lorraine.
