The Maillol Museum exhibits some forty paintings by artist Francis Bacon. The exhibition "The sacred and the profane" shows that, even if he was an atheist, the English painter was very interested in the sacred. Drawings of paintings by Francis Bacon and interview with Michaël PEPPIAT, art critic, friend of Francis Bacon, evoking the rejections suffered by the latter in his youth, with his family and because of his homosexuality.
