Preservation of the Lascaux Cave

Closed permanently to the public for eight years to preserve the site from deterioration, the Lascaux cave could be copied identical. The National Geographical Institute would work on the topography of the place and the reconstruction of the frescoes would be entrusted to the painters of the Ecole du Louvre. Commentary and factual images (visitors to the cave, details of cave paintings, work of the National Geographical Institute on the reconstitution of a statue of Osiris) and interviews of specialists.
