Brasilia: end of social diversity

Brasilia, inaugurated in 1960, is the new capital of Brazil. Built in the middle of the desert, it was established there to attract inland population and economic activity, then mainly concentrated in the major coastal cities. Comments on plans and images showing the organization of the city in "super Quadra". Testimony of a resident explaining how the social mixity imagined at the beginning was lost on the way, especially because of the real estate speculation that hunted the poorest towards satellite cities.
