While François MITTERRAND is preparing to launch one of his last major works, La Cité de la musique, a review of a project launched in 1981, redesigned several times and which took ten years to see the light of day. The images of the Cité de la musique alternate with interviews with Brigitte MARGER, general manager of the Cité, Christian DE PORTZAMPARC, architect of the Cité, and Pierre BOULEZ, president of the inter contemporain ensemble.
