Pierre Messmer announces the construction of 13 nuclear power plants

A few months after the oil crisis of October 1973, Pierre MESSMER, first minister, announced that France would launch the construction of 13 nuclear power plants of 1,000 megawatts each. He points out that these 13,000 megawatts represent all the electrical energy available in 1962.
