Sartre takes issue with mining work

At the initiative of Red Aid Jean-Paul SARTRE came to Lens to animate the "People’s Court" organized following the firecracker blow of February 4, 1970 in the mine of Fouquières-les-Lens, during which 16 miners lost their lives. According to SARTRE, "there was no accident on February 4, but indeed assassination [...] It is a social activity that develops within the capitalist society [...] it is about accidents and losses required by the race for profit. Firedamp, silicosis, are fatalities that come to some men from other men who exploit them and sacrifice the health and life of workers to productivity."
