On Saturday 26 August in Paris, General de Gaulle arrives at the Arc de Triomphe in front of the tomb of the unknown soldier. He then walked down the Champs-Élysées to the Concorde, under the cheers of a huge crowd, preceded by the victorious tanks and surrounded by generals Leclerc, Koenig and Juin, as well as resistance fighters, including Bidault and Parodi, who looked like "La Marseillaise". Comment on images of the general and the crowd, including close-ups and aerial views. These images were filmed by a team of Resistance filmmakers.
