In Paris, the crowd massed in front of the town hall and in the streets leading up to the Opera House burst out its joy when the Allied troops entered the masses. She cheers for soldiers marching in military vehicles, jeeps, tanks. Women kiss them. Brief statement at the microphone of an American soldier who says he is very happy to be in Paris.
