The right and the PACS

Tomorrow, Parliament will discuss the draft Civil Pact of Solidarity (PACS), giving status to heterosexual or homosexual non-mariffed couples. This status will allow them, in particular, to benefit from a common taxation, an estate scheme similar to that of the spouses, or even special leave. The majority of the right-wing representatives are opposed to the project. Interviews with Christine BOUTIN, MP Democratic Force, Patrick DEVEDJIAN, RPR, and Roselyne BACHELOT, RPR, who replied that she was going to vote for PACS. Christine BOUTIN says: "Homosexuality is by its nature the difficulty of reaching the other in its difference"
