Return of King Norodom Sihanouk to Phnom Penh

King NORODOM Sihanouk returned from exile and returned to Phnom Penh, where he greeted the Afat (female soldiers) of his army before returning to the Royal Palace. This return coincides with the abandonment to the Cambodian command of the last sector still controlled by the French army in Khmer country.
