Dupont company goes public in Faverges

ST Dupont has just gone public and opened its capital to 49.9%. The main shareholder is a Hong Kong company. Founded in 1872, the luxury goods company exports 89% of its production for a turnover of 522 million francs. The work of the 576 employees of the Faverges production unit in Savoie includes the machining of metal parts, and the finishes with Chinese lacquers and gold powder. Its listing on the stock exchange reflects its reputation and allows new investments to modernize the production chain of lighters and pens. The journalist details the financial aspects and the operation of the factory by filming workers at work and flagship products of the brand and interviews Maxime MANERA, industrial director ST Dupont.
