Le 3 juin 1950, deux alpinistes français réussissent un exploit : Maurice Herzog et Louis Lachenal parviennent à 8 075 mètres, au sommet de l'Annapurna (Himalaya), c'est la 1ère fois que l'homme se hisse à pied à plus de 8 000 mètres. Rétrospective à l'occasion des 90 ans de M. Herzog et interview de l'intéressé.
