In 2014, the "science seed" operation enabled young high school students to meet a master in mathematics, Cédric Villani, during a mathematical popularization conference given to five hundred students from the Havre region. Interview with Cédric VILLANI, holder of the Fields medal equivalent of the Nobel Prize for mathematics. He explains the aims of popularization, and the "love" that is born after a long time spent observing a mathematical equation to solve it. A microsidewalk with students who, by their own admission, are not good at mathematics, shows that the mathematician made a strong impression on them and managed to interest them in his discipline.
