Police equipped with "pedestrian cameras" in priority security zones in Mulhouse

Attached to the police officer’s vest, a pedestrian camera allows to record the progress of the control. The idea is to prevent any slippage. The police officer’s only obligation is to inform you that you are being filmed. The device is not systematic, it can only be used on public roads and it is up to the officer to decide whether or not to film the intervention. The experiment is national, it has just begun and should last 6 months. The cameras are deployed in cities with priority security zones. This is the case in Mulhouse. Often criticized for its tough interventions, the police want to play transparency. If the experiment is validated, the device could be generalized.
