An express rail link (CDG Express) between Paris and Charles de Gaulle airport was to enter into service for the 2024 Olympic Games. But its commissioning was postponed. A shuttle system during the Olympics is still in negotiation with the SNCF. Interviewed, the Minister of Transport, Elisabeth Borne, explains the reasons for this extra time for the work. Elisabeth Borne explains: "Our priority is daily transport...obviously it is not to lose sight of the commitments we made for the Olympic Games...".
