Shia Fundamentalist Demonstration In Saida And Explosion In Beirut
In southern Lebanon, after the departure of the Israelis, the inhabitants of Saida saw the Shia fundamentalists arrive en masse. They protested with the Sunni extremists to demand an Islamic regime in Lebanon. Women in Chador burned the Lebanese flag. At the same time, in the southern suburbs of Beirut, a car bomb exploded in the Shia districts.
