Marseille a été sélectionnée pour accueillir les épreuves de voile si Paris est sélectionnée pour Jeux Olympiques de 2024. Un projet de tribune provisoire de 5 000 places est prévu sur la corniche. L'idée est d'installer le village olympique au parc Chanot.
