Testimony of Elodie, a 37-year-old professional dancer, who had to quit her job following a lipolysis that caused her to become infected and poison her blood. Coming from the United States, this practice to eliminate cellulite has been practiced for several years in beauty salons, outside the hospital setting. In 2011, following a report by the High Health Authority (HAS), which identified about twenty serious cases of infections, the Ministry of Health decided to ban practices related to lipolysis.
