Françoise Barré Sinoussi
French researcher in virology, Françoise Barré-Sinoussi participated, within the team of Pr Montagnier of the Institut Pasteur in 1983, in the discovery of the HIV virus. For their outstanding work, these two great scientists were awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 2008. Since 2017, Françoise Barré-Sinoussi has been President of Sidaction and CARE since March 2020, in the fight against Covid-19.
