Albert Camus

French writer (1913-1960) born in Algeria, the author of L'étranger and La Peste, journalist, essayist, philosopher, is considered one of the most important intellectuals of the 20th century. Nobel Prize for Literature in 1957, he disappeared in a car accident in 1960.
