On the deserted beach of Cannes, Claude LELOUCH is questioned by Gilles DURIEUX. The filmmaker, who has to confront the audience in the evening, is anxious because he knows that his films have so far had much more success abroad than in France (when one knows the phenomenal success that will be won by "A man and a woman" either in France or abroad - Palme d'or in Cannes and Oscar and Golden Globe of the best foreign film in Hollywood - this interview is rather tasty NDD).
