Charles Deutsch and aerodynamicist Romani perform a short test session on the straight line of the Hunaudières, closed on the occasion of the Tour de France auto on September 16, 1962. The goal is to exceed 200 kilometres/hours in a straight line by adapting the car to this unofficial record (faired car). Bernard Boyer set a record of 206.820 kilometres/hour on the second try, proving the ability of a 702cc car to pass the 200-per-hour mark, beyond the victory of the Panhard CD in the Le Mans 1962 24 Hours Performance Index.
