A l'origine ils étaient distribués par les instituteurs, et sont maintenant vendus en magasin et achetés par les parents. Il s'en vend six millions d'exemplaires. Interviews de Bernard PHARISIEN, instituteur retraité, d'Isabelle MAGNARD, petite-fille du fondateur des éditions Magnard, et de plusieurs parents et enfants.
