Introducing the Printemps Eté 1989 collection from Hermès' feminine ready-to-wear collection. A striking blend of classicism and audacity. A nod to the bicentenary of the French Revolution. - Mannequins parading in the square courtyard of the Louvre in turn dressed in rather classic sportswear trousers, "French Revolution" outfits, shorts, checkered suits, floral outfits. - The bride moves forward, in a very sober dress, holding a bouquet of "blue, white, red". Hats are always original. - Interview with Jean Louis DUMAS, CEO of Hermès: "Le carré Hermès made a happy marriage with jeans. We realized that a square of silk on a t-shirt, jeans, was getting married very well! Tradition is a good basis for movement, for creation. Hermès is an old-young house. We are only 150 years old! We work with rhythm and colour."
