A crucial step has been taken in the peace in the Middle East: Israel and the PLO are committed to no more war. Yitzhak RABIN signed a letter in which Israel recognized the PLO as the "representative of the Israeli people", while Yasser Arafat recognized the State of Israel and renounced terrorism. The commentary on images of Yitzhak RABIN signing the PLO’s letter of appreciation in the presence of Shimon Peres and Johan Jorgen Holst, Norwegian Foreign Minister, then making a statement in which he speaks "from a historical moment" is followed by an interview with Ouri SAVIR, Director General of Foreign Affairs in Israel.
