Resumption of clashes between English and French fishermen: David CURRY, Secretary of State for Fisheries of the Conservative Government of John Major, ordered a Royal Navy vessel to board a French trawler of Concarneau, the "Larche", following a "new attack" by the latter against English fishing vessels off Cornwall, as witnessed by the captain of the Sardia Louisa "They deliberately cut the nets" (translation off).
