1992: electoral campaign of Bernadette Chirac in Corrèze, with her husband

Meeting with Bernadette CHIRAC in campaign for the renewal of her seat as General Councillor in her fief of Corrèze. Interviewed by journalists (including François BAROIN for Europe1) in the presence of Jacques CHIRAC, she confides that no French would want to see her Prime Minister if her husband were elected President of the Republic. Later, during her speech in front of a crowd of notables, her husband did not hesitate to interrupt her, but Madame was quick to say: "You see the ambiguity of my situation. I am both General Councillor of Corrèze and at the same time the wife of Jacques Chirac who is a leader, and I must obey".
