As part of the German reunification, a military ceremony at the headquarters of the French forces in Berlin to mark the end of their occupation mandate and the official surrender of their powers of the four Allied military governors, to the Kommandatura of Berlin; in the morning also arrived the German West deputies from Bonn for the first session of the reunified parliament in Berlin.
