Electoral fraud in Corsica
The autonomist organization "Union du Peuple Corse" has filed a dossier with the Council of State denouncing electoral fraud in Corsica, including forged signatures and false domiciliations, on the occasion of the regional elections. François ALFONSI, activist of the Union of the Corsican People, shows the false domicile of fictitious voters. Arrived at the address indicated on the electoral lists, he opens the door to an empty, blind and dilapidated room. François ALFONSI explains: "An EDF meter and a mailbox is enough... It is a very disputed canton". Fabienne GIOVANNINI, editor-in-chief of "Arriti", press organ of the Union of the Corsican People, evokes the various ways in which votes are bought, for example "for 500 francs, for a washing machine ..". Sylvie SARTINI, resident of the village, shows the signing of two people who were absent from the village during the vote.
