Following the power outage that paralyzed the whole of France, interview of Marcel Boiteux, CEO EDF on the reasons for this blackout. "We were close to our limits," he stresses. Then he explains the fragility of the network due to the imbalance between eastern France, which is relatively rich in production, and the west, which is weak. He is looking at the possibility that this could happen again for the next few winters.
