Interview with Claude Olievenstein

Interview with Dr Claude OLIEVENSTEIN, a drug addiction psychologist at Marmottan Hospital, following John Carter’s proposals for a partial legalization of marijuana possession in the United States. He is not in favour of a real decriminalization of cannabis in France, but he is in favour of replacing prison sentences with fines. Regarding the American President’s proposal, he says: "I believe this is a good measure" and indicates that in France, theoretically in the 1970 Act, this measure is already included, but the use of this law has been diverted from the spirit of the legislator.
