A cult broadcast of games using both French language and math skills, Des chiffres et des lettres is one of the oldest television programs still on air. Here the images of the first one in January 1971, as well as some pearls.
For the second time in a row, the cartoonist Jacques FAIZANT and the filmmaker Claude CHABROL compete. Jacques FAIZANT wins the game and Claude CHABROL receives as a consolation prize a game box and a prize called Emmanuel Boulier, which is a necklace made of colored balls. Claude CHABROL wears it with fun.
