Shots on the crowd after General de Gaulle’s Paris crossing
On the evening of the historic day of August 26, 1944, General de Gaulle goes by car to Notre-Dame where a Te Deum will be given. On the course followed by the procession, a shooting erupts. Shooters ambushed on the roofs shoot at the crowd in various places of the capital. Plans of people running and scattering, hiding under tanks or behind the parapet of a bridge, of wounded transported, of the crowd flat belly, of a young girl wielding a flag.
