The modernization of the coal mines in Lorraine allows a higher efficiency. Mr Guy MOLLET in Lorraine on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Lorraine Coal Mines. Excerpt from Guy MOLLET’s speech: "...it is the nationalization of the coal mines...which, by allowing the necessary coordination and better use of resources, has led over the past 10 years to this magnificent expansion from the ruins of war; it has also led to this considerable development of the social programme [...] the workers of the mine have been, at the same time as the consumers, largely benefiting from this nationalization.
